The MG S5 is available in three variants, priced at NPR 4,399,000, NPR 4,999,000, and NPR 5,499,000. Previously, the company had set its customs valuation between NPR 4.7 million and NPR 5.8 million.

The S5 features the world’s thinnest ultra-thin battery. The entry-level model is equipped with a 49.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a WLTP range of 340 km on a single charge. Another variant comes with a 62.2 kWh battery, providing a range of 430 km per charge.

Key features of the S5 include a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof in the higher variant. It is powered by a 99 kW motor.

Built on a scalable modular platform, the MG S5 includes rear-wheel drive and independent suspension, enhancing handling, stability, and comfort. This segment-first suspension setup ensures a smooth and dynamic ride.

The MG S5 EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, with a top speed of 175 km/h.
