Businessmen of Morang, who had declared agitation saying that there was an unannounced power cut in the industrial sector, have postponed the agitation program with an agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
The Morang Trade Association and Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Province 1 have issued a joint statement stating that the agitation, which was supposed to be staged from today, has been postponed.
According to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the agitation has been postponed after the NEA expressed its commitment to ensuring equal distribution of energy in the current crisis situation.
