Kathmandu, October 16: The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 3,749 more COVID-19 cases on Thursday (October 15), thus pushing the total number of activities such cases to 36,533 in the country.
Of the lately infected people, 1,953 belonged to the Kathmandu Valley alone ( Kathmandu district- 1693, Bhaktapur district- 134 and Lalitpur district- 108).
According to the ministry, 3,565 infected people got rid of the disease yesterday. With this, the total number of recoveries across the country has reached 84,518.
Similarly, there are 12,339 infected people staying in the institutional isolations, 24,194 in the home isolations and 4,825 in the quarantines. Moreover, 68 people suffering coronavirus are receiving treatment with ventilator support while 324 such others have been admitted at ICU, Dr Gautam.
