Kathmandu, April 30: Nabil Bank Limited and Play for Deprived Children Nepal (PDCN) have reached an agreement with an aim to encourage the engagement of youths in sports especially basketball.
With the signing of this agreement, Nabil bank Limited will act as Banking Partner of Nepal Basketball League to achieve such aim.
Anil Keshary Shah, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and Arun Karki, Chairman of Play for Deprived Children Nepal signed the agreement in an event organized at Nepal Police Training Camp, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu along with the captains of National Team Sadina Shrestha and Sadhish Pradhan on Monday (April 30).
Nepal Basketball League was started from 28 April 2019 and has set its finals on 22 July 2019. As informed by the Chairman of PDCN, the tournament is going to be the held for 55 days. Winners of the tournament will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 200,000, Rs.100,000 and Rs.50,000 respectively.
