Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has paid its loan installments for the purchased aircraft, covering payments up to the month of Poush (mid-December to mid-January).
NAC has disbursed Rs 539.6 million toward loans acquired from the Employees’ Provident Fund and the Citizen Investment Trust to procure two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft for international operations.
The payment for the two narrow-body aircraft has been fully settled, while a portion of the loan for the two wide-body aircraft remains outstanding.
Since the current management assumed leadership, NAC has paid a total of Rs 6.86 billion in loan installments as of the end of Poush 2081 BS.
