According to the NAC spokesperson, Archana Khadka, the corporation on May 6 will be making one more chartered flight to Sydney in Australia. Prior to this, on April 1, it had made the 13-hour chartered flight to Brisbane of Australia via Malaysia thorough its wide-body. Because of being the longest flight ever made by the corporation, this flight was termed to be a historic one.

For the upcoming flight for Australia, the NAC wide-body will reach Sydney via the Kuala Lumpur transit and the arrival flight will be non-stop from Sydney to TIA. It will leave for Sydney carrying over 250 people and return empty. Besides, it is scheduled to operate a cargo flight on TIA- Beijing route to bring a shipment of medical equipment for private suppliers. Moreover, the NAC wide-body will also be flying to the South Korea.

Earlier the flight was scheduled for April 30, but it was postponed due to some reason. The new schedule is yet to be determined. It is said the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), South Korea is taking Nepali migrant workers back to Korea through the NAC chartered flight. Those workers arrived here for holidays before the enforcement of lockdown .RSS
