NADA Auto Show sees 73,000 visitors in first 5 days

Kathmandu, September 1 : Over 73,000 visitors have thronged the 14 edition of the ‘NADA Auto Show 2019’ in the first five days of the mega exhibition of automobiles.

Anup Baral, the spokesperson of NADA Auto Show, told ceotab.com that the auto show has witnessed the overwhelming number of visitors in the first five days.

In the first, second, third, fourth and fifth day of the show, the number of its visitors stood at 10,000, 13,000, 14,800, 15,500 and 20,100 respectively.

Hosted by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, the exhibition, which kicked off on Tuesday i.e August 27, is running till today, September 1

During it, the exhibitors are coming up with new products with attractive schemes to boost their business. For instance, TATA Motors along with its exclusive distributor for Nepal, Sipradi Trading, unveiled a new four-wheeler, TATA H 5.

 Derived from Land Rover’s D8 architecture, it is powered by the Kryotec 2.0 Diesel engine and delivers 138 Bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque with an Advanced Electronically Controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT).

Besides H 5, other models of Tata displayed in dhow include Nexon AMT, Tiago, NRG.

 “Every visitor booking any of our four-wheelers gets lucky draw offers like Dubai Tour for a couple or attractive cash discount with 1 year fee road tax, and water spring sports, iPhone XR and a 55inch Sky World television,” informs Prasanna Pant, senior deputy manager, passenger vehicle business unit of Sipradi Trading.

Similarly, the company has launched three new variants of MAK Lubricant-  Alpha Zenith 5w-30, Alpha Zenith 10w-30 and Ruby Grease.

On the other side, Laxmi Inter Continental P.Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai in Nepal, has launched its new four-wheeler, Venue, during the auto show.

 “The newly launched SUV is packed with  hosts of premium driver safety and convenience technologies. It will be the most affordable Hyundai compact SUV, and joins its larger siblings including the Creta, Tucson and Santa Fe in the Nepalese market,” says Deewakar Regmi, Head of Marketing at Laxmi Inter Continental.

According to him, the number of visiting the stall of Hyundai has increased compared to the previous year.

The exhibition features 95 stalls related to four-wheeler, two-wheeler, lubricants, spare parts, batteries, banks, and insurance companies.
