NBCCI delegation on a week-long visit to Brazil

A delegation of industrialists and entrepreneurs from Nepal Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NBCCI, are on a week-long visit to Brazil from 16 February 2023 to 24 February 2023 under the leadership of Akhil Kumar Chapagai, chairman of the organization.

A team of 19 members will visit the Brazilian cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to further enhance the trade relations between Nepal and Brazil. A special ceremony was organized by the Brazilian Ambassador Carlos Den Hartog and Deputy Chief Jose Maria to bid farewell to the entire delegation of NBCCI.

They believed that the leadership of Umesh Rayamajhi and coordination of Neeraj Timilsina will make the visit more fruitful. Business representatives of Nepal in the delegation; Vijay Prakash Gupta, Vinay Thapa, Jairam Aryal, Jeevan Bhattarai, Kul Prasad Chapagain, Lavram Dahal, Madhav Giri, Prabhu Shamsher Rana, Rakesh Kumar Shrestha, Sanjeev Regmi, Shailendra BC Budha, Shivahari Dangal, Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Sushil Kadaria, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Nirmal Raj Poudel are participating.

During the visit, the Nepali team will visit major companies in Brazil to explore business opportunities between Nepal and Brazil, as well as meeting with Brazilian business representatives and entrepreneurs from Facomerico and Brazilian Association of Hotel Industries-ABIH.

NBCCI is a non-profit organization established to promote trade, investment and cooperation between Nepal and Brazil. It is the third visit of the delegation from Nepal to Brazil and it is expected to create new business opportunities for both countries.
