To encourage women in the field of information technology and to honor the contribution they have made in this field, Ncell will present the Women Icon ICT Award.
The telecommunication company will present the award at the grand finale event of Nepal’s prestigious ICT Awards to be held at The Soaltee Hotel Kathmandu on Friday, 23rd December 2022.
It is said that the winner of the ‘Ncell Women Icon ICT Award’ will be given a cash prize of 3 lakhs and a certificate. For the past 2 years, Ncell has been presenting the Women Icon ICT Award to honor and motivate women in the field of information and communication technology.
Last year, Nepal’s first female computer engineer, Guna Keshari Pradhan, was honored with the ‘Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award’.
In order to encourage women in the field of information technology and to appreciate the contribution they have made in this field, in accordance with the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy, the telecommunication company has joined the ICT Award and is presenting this award.
On 23rd December 2022, the grand finale of the ICT Award will be held in Kathmandu with the participation of high personalities from the government and private sectors. In the finale, ICT awards will be distributed in more than 12 categories including Woman Icon.
