Ncell handovers cash prize under ‘Recharge and Win’ offer

Kathmandu, September 5 : Ncell Private Limited on Thursday handed over cash prizes to the lucky winners of the fourth week of the ‘Recharge and Win’ offer.

Recharge and Win is a 10 weeks long campaign and the winners for the fourth week were selected on Tuesday (October 2) through a live draw program broadcast in AP1 Television.

Among the 10 lucky winners of the fourth week, five winners received cash prize of Rs 100,000 each on Thursday. Ncell is verifying another five winners of the fourth week and one new winner of the third week.

Yuvraj Shrivastava, Human Resources Director of Ncell handed over the cash prizes to the five winners of the fourth week – Sumitra Dangi (Salyan), Rakesh Sah (Sarlahi), Shiva Khatri (Jhapa),  Dinesh Gamal (Makawanpur) and Suraj Kumar Baruwal (Makawanpur) – amid a function in Kathmandu.

Earlier this week, Ncell had handed over cash prizes to two remaining winners of the first week. First week winners–Alina Buda Magar of Rukum received the prize from Ncell Centre, Dang, and Sita Devi Sunuwar of Kushma received the prize from Ncell Centre, Pokhara.

Till the fourth week of ‘Recharge and Win’ offer, 40 lucky customers have won Rs 100,000 cash prize each. Out of them, 32 winners have received the cash prize. Remaining eight winners will be handed over with their prize after verification process.

All Ncell prepaid and postpaid customers are eligible to participate in ‘Recharge and Win’ offer. The campaign was launched on September 2 for 10 weeks, through which 10 lucky customers topping up Rs 100 or more in a week win Rs 100,000 every week. Each winner gets net Rs 100,000 as Ncell pays the applicable taxes for the cash prize.

‘Recharge and Win’ is implemented in a weekly cycle, beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday. Based on the recharges done during the week, the customers receive a random unique code by Monday of the following week for every cumulative refill of Rs 100. For example, if a customer tops up Rs 250 from Sunday to Saturday, the customer will get two unique numbers.

10 lucky winners for the week are selected every Tuesday through a live draw program that is broadcast in AP1 Television at 7:00 PM in the presence of a celebrity.
