Neek Electro-Tech 2018 to be held

Kathmandu, December 14 : Federation of Electrical Entrepreneurs of Nepal (FEEN), an umbrella organization of the entrepreneurs involved in the trade and industry of electrical and electronics, is organizing the ninth edition of international electrical-electronic exhibition and symposium – NEEK Electro-Tech 2018. The exhibition is scheduled for December 21 till 25, 2018 at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu.

The exhibition is expected to contribute to the development of Nepalese trade, business and industrial sector thereby creating a conducive business environment. Backing up the national priority of energy development, this edition of Electro-Tech will be organized with a theme “Energy for Economic Prosperity” to voice the development of energy and the component sector.

The event will act as a business platform for all who work in the areas of electricity, power, energy, electrical, electronic and information technology. National and international manufacturers, exporters, importers, agencies, dealers, contractors, engineers, experts, designers, policy makers, technicians and buyers will form a mega platform for trade, investment opportunities and market information. The exhibiting companies will portray their latest products and new technological developments in the electrical and electronic sector.

The biggest electrical and electronic exhibition in Nepal, NEEK Electro-Tech 2018 houses 51 blocks inside the hall and 26 stalls in the sales area. The exhibition will showcase Power Generating Equipment, Transmission & Distribution Line Materials, Power Supply & Control Equipment, Domestic & Industrial Electrification, Electric Household Appliances, Wire, Cables & Conductors, Lighting Fixtures, Electronics, Office Automation, Control & Switchgears, Inverters & Batteries, Solar Equipment and other Electrical Accessories.

Nepal Ekarat Engineering Company (NEEK) is the Title Sponsor of the exhibition. Mahalaxmi Wire & Cable Pvt. Ltd. (Mahalaxmi) is the Platinum Sponsor. N.G. Electricals Pvt. Ltd. (Electra-Electric) and Shree Rajdevi International Pvt. Ltd. (Syska LED) and the Diamond Sponsors. Gold Sponsors of the event are Starseed Technology Pvt. Ltd. (UNI Expert LED lighting), Unilight International Pvt. Ltd. (Unilife switch), Shubham Electricals (Monolite) and Amilee Power & Energy Pvt. Ltd. (LeKiSe LED). NEEK Electro-Tech 2018 is a true representation of the energy sector trade and business. As such the exhibition is supported by eminent organizations such as Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), Independent Power Producers’ Association of Nepal (IPPAN), Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA), Solar Electricity Manufacturers Association of Nepal (SEMAN), Society of Consulting Architectural & Engineering Firms (SCAEF), Nepal Micro Hydropower Development Association (NMHDA), Society of Electrical Engineers of Nepal (SEEN), Nepal Electrical & Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (NEEMA), Nepal Electrical Contractors’ Association (NECA) and Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA).

The ninth edition of the exhibition has the participation of national and foreign brands such as NEEK, Mahalaxmi, Electra-Electric, Syska, Monolite, Unilife, UNI Expert, LeKiSe, Schneider, Legrand, HPL, C&S, Philips, Havells, Siemens, L&T, Crompton, Usha, Anchor, Orient, Rathi and more. In order to make the exhibition informative and participative concurrent events such as seminars, presentation and interactions on different topics will be organized every day. The five days exhibition is expected to draw around 1,00,000 visitors that would include national and international guests, business entrepreneurs, technicians, government officials, architects, electrical engineers, interior decorator, students and general public.
