Kathmandu, December 17: Airlines Critics and Bloggers Association (ACBA), the organization of auditors, reviewers, bloggers passengers and journalists pertaining to the aviation sector, has conferred “Most Popular Airlines Award, 2019 to the Nepal Airlines (NA). Similarly, the ACBA recognized Madan Kharel, CEO, Nepal Airlines, as “Airline CEO of the Year”.
Organizing a program at Hotel Soaltee in the capital today, the Association handed over such awards to the NA and its CEO. “On- time performance, crew’s interaction and behavior during the flights, service on board, safety concerns, aircraft maintenance, and cleaning were considered as major yardsticks while conferring “Most Popular Airlines Award, 2019 to the Nepal Airlines (NA), says the ACBA adding,” Similarly, Mr. Kharel was chosen “Airline CEO of the Year” in recognition of his leadership qualities, management skills, efforts to popularize the airline brand and, above all, passion for making the NA as the leading air operator in the country.”
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Kharel said,” The honor given to me by the ACBA has further encouraged me to adopt more focused and far-sighted strategies to help bolster the performance of the national flag carrier of Nepal.”
