Kathmandu, November 14: The Nepal Army (NA) has cautioned the then chief of Kathmandu-Terai-Madhesh Expressway Construction Project, Yogendra Bahadur Khand and board members for leaking information related to the project evaluation methods.

According to the NA Directorate of Public Relations and Information, the Department of Military Secretariat cautioned then project chief and members of the technical evaluation board for leaking evaluation criteria related information in course of the selection of international level consultant for project supervision.

The secretariat alarmed them in line with the recommendation of the Court of Inquiry Board. The NA has shared that the incumbent project chief has also cautioned the non-military people working as experts in the project.

The NA has expressed commitment to accomplishing the project within the stipulated time by maintaining financial discipline, quality, and austerity aspects. The government has mobilized Nepal Army in national development works.
