Kathmandu, September 6 : The Ministry of Health and Population has revealed that 1,041 individuals tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday (September 5). With this, the total number of the cases related to the disease in the country has reached 45,277.
Similarly, 12,473 people had their PCR tests yesterday, thus taking the total number of such people to 757,963 . Likewise, the country recorded the highest single day recovery of 1,566 COVID-19 patients on Saturday. With this, the national recovery tally has reached 27,127.
Similarly, nine people succumbed to the virus yesterday. With this, the national COVID-19 death toll has so far reached 280 .
According to the ministry, six districts namely Taplejung, Solukhumbu, Mugu, Mustang, Dolpa and Humla have each not seen even a single case of the virus till date.
