Representatives of the Nepal-Korea Culture Center have demanded Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale to operate direct flights between Nepal and Korea through Nepal Airlines.
During a meeting at the Ministry on Saturday, the director of Nepal-Korea Culture Center Korea, Hwangqu, demanded that direct flights should be operated by Nepal Airlines for tourism development and agri-tourism of both countries.
He said, “Nepal-Korea direct flight is necessary for the development of tourism sector in Nepal and to attract tourists. There should be an initiative from the government.”
In the proposal put forward by Director Hwangqu, Minister Ale said that necessary discussions would be held for direct flights between Nepal and Korea.
He said, “Your proposal is good, we will discuss and report.”
