Kathmandu, October 1 : 1,559 new cases of coronavirus has been confirmed on Wednesday (September 30), thus taking the total number of such cases in the country to 77,817. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,057 infected people returned home after getting recovery from the disease yesterday With this, the total number such people in the country has reached 56,428. The recovery percentage as of today is 72.5 per cent.
The ministry also informs that seven people including two women and five men died of coronavirus on Thursday. With this, the total number of such fatalities in the country has reached 498.
Currently, a total of 10,804 people are in home isolation, 10,087 in institutional isolation and 5,428 in quarantine facilities. The number of people contracting the disease receiving treatment in various hospitals totals 201. according to the Ministry.
