In the interaction jointly organized by NDC and Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday (Feb 11), NDC founder member Dev Dutta Das called for the local entrepreneurs and industrialists to remain prepared for joint investment and explore areas for further interventions.

Das informed that the governor of Washington DC is coming to Nepal at the invitation of Gandaki state chief minister Prithvi Subba Gurung and also hinted at the possibility of signing agreements on investment in different sectors.

“The chief minister has floated impressive plans. There is possibility for channelizing investment in different areas including cancer hospital, tourism hotspots, and agriculture”, he said.

“US northernmost large city Seattle has several small mountains with many sky resorts. Manang and Mustang of the state also possess the potentials, oh having such resorts”, he noted.

Another founder of the NDC Murti Kalkora urged entrepreneurs to pay attention to production ratio, planning, selection of competent human resources, management and knowing the local culture to make the enterprises successful.
