Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday fell marginally by 1.38 points to close at 1,844.14 points.
The secondary market that opened at 1,845.51 points fell continuously in the first hour of trading to hit the day’s lowest at 1,834.41 points. The Nepse rebounded and reached as high as 1,849.74 points before declining marginally by around five points to close for the day.
The daily turnover amount stood at Rs 507.68 million, which was lower than Rs 643.60 million on Wednesday.
Three of the 13 trading groups gained in their average market values. Trading, development bank and investment were the gainers.
Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited had transactions of its shares worth Rs 36.95 million, the largest of all. Century Debenture 2088 was the topmost loser while Sayapatri Hydropower Limited gained the highest percent in its market value.
