On the final trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 5.99 points, settling at 2,640.96.

According to NEPSE, a total of 171,08,809 shares from 311 companies were traded 77,670 times today, resulting in a total transaction amount of Rs 7.97 billion (Rs 7,970,886,663.46). Compared to the previous day’s turnover of Rs 5.16 billion, today’s trading volume has significantly increased.

Share prices of 94 companies rose today, while 193 companies saw a decline. The share price of one company remained unchanged. Reverse Falls Power Limited hit the positive circuit breaker today, marking a significant gain. In contrast, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals recorded the highest drop, with its share price falling by 9.30 percent.
