Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday increased marginally by 2.86 points to close at 2,057.84 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,054.98 points and escalated to the day’s highest at 2,073.28 points. The market, however, declined to as low as 2,052.58 points before recovering by around five points.
The indices of seven out of 13 trading groups gained in the intraday transaction. Life-insurance added the biggest of 47.79 points.
Nepse total turnover amount was Rs 1.52 billion, marginally higher than Rs 1.33 billion on Tuesday. Arun Kabeli Power Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 169.26 million. Mandakini Hydropower Limited was the biggest gainer while Siddhartha Equity Fund lost the largest percent in its market value.
