Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) made yet another record of the biggest single-day turnover of Rs 27.24 billion on Monday.
As the secondary market rallied with notable gains also in the second trading day of the week, the daily turnover amount became Rs 1.47 billion higher than the amount recorded on the previous day. On Sunday, the daily turnover amount stood at Rs 25.77 billion.
Along with a surge in share prices, the market capitalization also had a single-day gain of Rs 112 billion. The market capitalization jumped to Rs 4.653 trillion from Rs 4.541 trillion in the review period.
