Kathmandu, April 26: NIC Asia Bank has lately been expanding its physical presence in rural areas across the country.
On April 24, NIC Asia opened five new branch offices in five different places- Ward no. 6 of Mathyapur Thimi Municipality, Gothatar of Kageshwori Mnohara Municipality, Balkot of Surya Binayak Municipality Satungal Chowk of Chandragiri Municipality and Feta Rural Municipality of Bara district.
“We want to serve more rural customers by proving them with easy and effective banking services and products. That is why the bank has prioritized expanding its networks in rural areas,” states a press release issued by the bank.
It claims itself as one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, balance-sheet size, number of branches, ATM network and customer base.
