Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), has launched online ticketing for domestic flights.
For the convenience of passengers, the national flag carrier has made arrangements to book domestic and international air tickets through the E-sewa digital wallet.
According to Archana Khadka, spokesperson of the NAC, online ticketing arrangement will be done gradually from other local wallets.
“On the international side, tickets were being sold through the corporation’s website for some time using international cards”, she said, “Also, the corporation has prioritized the provision of domestic flight services to the people of remote/difficult areas.” The corporation is also preparing to expand services targeted at the tourist sector.
The corporation has also clarified about the complaint that even the available seats were not sold. According to this, although there are 19 seats available for domestic flights, the number of seats that can be sold will automatically change due to various factors such as the weather of the flight destination, availability of fuel, and the technical capacity of the aircraft.
