Pokhara, April 9 : The relief fund set up by the Pokhara Metropolitan City (PMC) here in the Kaski district so far has collected around Rs 36 million. The metropolis established the fund in support of that section of society hit by the ongoing national lockdown announced to prevent COVID-19.
The fund aims to provide relief specifically to the daily wage earners, labourers and the needy families. The metropolis has deposited Rs 20 million, the Gandaki state government Rs 10 million and various organisations and individuals Rs 16 million in the fund.
