PPMO blacklists 23 construction companies for delays

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) took decisive action on Monday by blacklisting 23 construction companies for failing to complete projects on time. The move comes as a consequence of their inability to meet project deadlines, as highlighted in a PPMO notice.

According to the notice by PPMO, these blacklisted construction companies faced difficulties in timely project completion across various public works, leading to their recommendation for blacklisting by the concerned offices. As a result, the affected companies will be barred from participating in any public procurement contracts for a period of one to one and a half years.

Among the blacklisted companies are prominent names in the construction industry, including Pappu Construction, Koshi & Neupane Construction Services, Natasa Construction Services, Triveni Construction Services, Samriddhi Construction Services, Nava Nirman Builders, and Chetna UKN JV.

Additionally, other companies, such as BKB Construction and Suppliers, Bluebird Design and Construction, Budhathoki Construction Services, New Construction Services, Shubham Construction, AKG Construction, KR Construction Services, Mabohang Construction Services, Urban Construction, Lama Buddha Construction and Material Suppliers, Action Builders, Noori Construction, Anjal Construction Services, Ritual Construction, Yoddha Construction Services, and Jai Bhagwati Construction Services have also been blacklisted.
