Xi’an (China), April 24 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is on the State Visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, has arrived in Xi’an today. President Bhandari was welcomed there at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport by Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, Nepal’s Ambassador to China, Leela Mani Paudyal, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi and high ranking officials of Shaanxi Province.
She is scheduled to participate and address ‘the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation’ scheduled to take place tomorrow (Thursday).
President Bhandari is accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chief Minister of State-3, Dormani Poudel, members of the federal parliament, high level officials of the government, ambassador Paudyal, representatives from private sector and media persons.
