June 11 : The government has yesterday formed a probe committee to find out the actual truth behind the complaints about the exorbitant airfare charged in the name of chartered flights.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation formed the four-member probe committee under coordination of joint-secretary at the Ministry, Suresh Acharya, to investigate about the allegations that travel agencies have been selling tickets at the illicitly high price to the passengers, who are permitted to go to Hong Kong and Japan in the chartered flights.
The probe committee has got seven days to submit its report about the matter, reads a press release issued by the Ministry.
