The government has added provisions for registering vehicles made in Nepal to the Transport Management Procedures Guidelines, 2060 BS.
According to the Department of Transport Management, the government has revised the guidelines by adding provisions under the point number 11.1 of the said guidelines, allowing vehicles made in Nepal to register.
The department issued a notice on Thursday, saying that the way to register vehicles made in Nepal has been opened.
According to the decision of the meeting held on Wednesday, the new point 11.1.9 has been added to point number 11.1 of the Transport Management Procedures Guideline, 2060 BS.
In 11.1.9, a special arrangement was made for the registration of vehicles made or assembled in Nepal, the department said.
