May 27 : Minister for Water Supply, Bina Magar, has said that guaranteeing the facility of pure drinking water to all Nepali was the main objective of the government. At the second general assembly of the Small Urban Drinking water Consumer and Sanitation Organisation, Tikapur of Kailali, Minister Magar said that the government was serious to reach pure drinking water facility to all Nepali.
She further said that arrangement of drinking water has been made to the people through around 43,000 consumer committees in the country. The government was active to take drinking water to door steps of the people through consumer committees and organisations, said Minister Magar.
Similarly, Far-West State Assembly member Dr Rana Bahadur Rawal said that getting the facility of pure drinking water is the fundamental rights of each citizen. Mayor of Tikapur municipality, Tapendra Bahadur Rawal, stressed the need of carrying out activities of drinking water supply and sewerage system together. RSS
