In a cabinet meet held in the capital on Monday (September 14), he came up with such a proposition after making necessary consultation with Prime Minister K.P Oli and Executive Chairman of Nepal Communist Party Puspa Kamal Dahal.

Ghising, who had been appointed as the CEO of the NEA in September, 2016, retired on Sunday (September 15).  During his tenure, he has made great professional achievements in terms of turning around this state-run entity.   One such achievement is to enable it to recover from huge losses and post an impressive Rs 11 billion profit. Similarly, under his leadership, the NEA was successful to eradicate the vexing problem of load-shedding through the efficient management of power supplies.

With firm dedication and wonderful dexterity, Ghising  has not only drastically transformed the NEA but also earned a great deal of admiration from every quarter of society.

In this context, the cabinet is expected to again allow him to head the NEA.
