Gold and silver prices have hit record highs once again today.
After rising by 2,100 rupees per tola last Friday, gold climbed a further 2,800 rupees today to reach 270,600 rupees per tola. The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association confirmed that this is the highest price ever recorded for gold.
Following consecutive declines on Wednesday and Thursday, gold prices rebounded on Friday and again on Sunday.
On Friday, gold was priced at 267,800 rupees per tola.
Earlier, on the 13th of Poush, gold had also reached 270,600 rupees per tola before dropping. Today, it has once again touched that record level.
Likewise, silver prices rose today as well. Increasing by 210 rupees per tola, silver reached 4,990 rupees per tola, marking its highest price to date.
