Kathmandu, November 10: 2,571 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported on Monday (November 9), thus taking the total tally in the country to 197,024, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were found through 11,177 RT-PCR tests done in various laboratories across the country.
Likewise, 1,798 people recovered from the deadly virus yesterday, thus the total number of such people to 159,724. The recovery rate from the disease is 81 percent in Nepal.
On Monday, 18 infected people died , thus taking the total number of such fatalities to 1,126. The death rate from the virus in the country is 0.6 per cent.
Currently, the active cases stand at 36,174 with 29,836 infected people in home-based isolation. Likewise, 411 patients are undergoing treatment in ICU while 83 are on ventilators.
