Revolving fund receives Rs 1.7 m aid

Myagdi, December 4 : The Non-Resident Nepalese have provided financial aid to a revolving fund, established to support the treatment of disadvantaged community people.
Myagdi Rescue Committee Bahrain aided Rs 1.7 million to the revolving fund of Rs 150 million that was set up by Omkumari Peace Trust.
Committee Chairperson Lek Ramjali, senior advisor Chhabilal Biswokarma and Dinesh Basnet handed over the cheque amount to Trust Chairperson Rajesh Shakya.
Trust Secretary Lokesh Pun shared that so far the Trust has received aid amounting to Rs 6.2 million from home and abroad countries. The revolving fund was instituted in memory of Om Kumari Pun (Shanti) who died of Hypo Plastic Ammonia disease.
He further informed that the Trust has provided support amounting to Rs 18.24 million for the treatment of 101 people up to mid-October 2018. RSS
