Ghising said that he was there for monitoring and inspection, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Chinese Ambassador Chen Song for observing the Kalanki-Basundhara road section under the second phase of expansion on Thursday.

He said that as many as 15 poles are yet to be removed on the Kalanki-Basundhara road section and those poles will be removed within 15 days. He clarified that there is no problem in the expansion of the road at any place due to the NEA.

Ghising said, “Now we have completed the work of moving the electric poles for the expansion of this ring road up to the Kalanki-Chabahil road section. Because the level of the road has to be adjusted at one or two places, about 15 poles are yet to be relocated, which will take about 15 days. There is no problem in the expansion of the ring road at any place due to the poles of the NEA.”
