There has been a significant drop in the price of gold, which had been nearing the two hundred thousand.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs. 7,500 per tola on Wednesday (today). On Tuesday (yesterday), the price had reached a record high of Rs. 197,900 per tola.
The Federation reported that hallmark gold is being traded today at Rs. 190,400 per tola.
Silver has also dropped by Rs. 5, bringing the price down to Rs. 1,965 per tola, according to the Federation.
