In response to the ongoing security situation in Nepal, including the curfew and prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley, the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the country’s tourism fraternity, in collaboration with the Nepal Army, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), and the Department of Immigration, have introduced a dedicated shuttle bus service for tourists.
Effective from September 11, 2025, the service ensures safe and reliable transportation between TIA and central Kathmandu. “Amid the current uncertainty and movement restrictions, we remain committed to the safety and convenience of our valued guests and visitors,” NTB officials stated.
This initiative is designed to facilitate tourism operations while strictly complying with security protocols in place under the curfew and prohibitory orders.
