In a meeting with the ministry’s secretary and other high-ranking officials on Thursday, Minister Badu made such instruction as per the provision mentioned in the budget of the current fiscal year.

The budget of the current fiscal year has started to run the sick industries closed for years by preparing their operational modality. On the occasion, Minister Badu underscored the need for creating sufficient employment and increasing national production by immediately resuming those sick industries’ operations.

Minister Badu further asked the officials to make arrangements for seeking recommendations and holding discussions with all stakeholders to ensure visible output adding that the discussions and studies conducted so far at different levels did not offer output.

Likewise, Minister Badu asked the officials to remain vigilant toward unusual price hikes, black marketing and artificial shortage of goods and foodstuffs at a time when the state mechanism’s attention was solely focused on elections. Badu directed the officials to establish coordination among the federal, provincal and local level government to carry out market monitoring in an effective manner.
