Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate two of its seven weekly flights between Singapore and Kathmandu with the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner during the upcoming festive seasons of Dashain and Tihar.
This initiative, announced in a recent press release, aims to enhance capacity and meet the rising demand during this busy travel period from October to November. The Boeing 787-10 is celebrated for its outstanding passenger experience, featuring SIA’s award-winning KrisWorld in-flight entertainment, Wi-Fi connectivity, fully-flat beds, and direct aisle access for all Business Class passengers. Economy Class travelers will also enjoy ergonomically-designed seats for added comfort.
The airline noted that Nepalis living abroad will have the chance to return home for the festivities, while those in Nepal can seize this opportunity for international travel.
The Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner is the largest aircraft by seat capacity at Tribhuvan International Airport, offering a total of 337 seats—36 in Business Class and 301 in Economy Class.
