November 21: Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Manthali Municipality of Ramechhap district have recently signed an agreement.
The deal is said to be focused on providing hospitality and service training to tourism entrepreneurs of Ramechhap.
The government’s decision to divert all flights of Lukla to Manthali airport from the Tribhuvan International Airport has prompted tourism entrepreneurs in Ramechhap to develop the infrastructure in Manthali Municipality.
In this regard, TAAN decided to provide skill-based training the entrepreneurs in Manthali in order to improve the service quality.
This is an opportunity for all concerned to develop Manthali as a transit hub for tourists traveling to Lukla, according to the TAAN.
