Kathmandu, April 21 : The third edition of Himalayan Travel Mart is to be held from June 6 to 9 in Kathmandu. The Mart is taken as the biggest tourism event of the country.

The event is being organised with the objective of projecting Nepal as the hub of adventure tourism, as the gateway to the Himalayas and as a tourist-friendly destination, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal chapter, the event organizer, stated.

Himalayan Travel Mart which is being organised every year since 2017 has evolved as a strong brand in the international level. PATA Nepal chapter has been histing the event in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Nepal Tourism Board; Nepal Airlines Corporation and several tourism-related organisations.

Two hundred and twenty-five representatives from 53 countries participated in the Mart in 2017 and more than 170 representatives from 36 countries attended it in 2018. RSS
