Kathmandu, April 14 : Three people living in the Sun City Apartments at Pepsicola in Kathmandu have been admitted to the isolation ward of Patan hospital after the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RPD) showed there were infected with COVID-19.
This was confirmed yesterday by Joint spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Adhikari. The three include two women of 81 and 52 years old and a man of 58 years old. Further tests will confirm whether they are actually infected with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, police have sealed off the apartment and its premises, in order to save those living in and around the apartment from possible infection. Human mobility in the area has been stopped as well, said chief of Metropolitan Police Office, Rani Pokhari DIG Biswaraj Pokharel
