According to the meteorologist Manju Basi, the current weather pattern has been attributed to the low atmospheric pressure formed in the eastern area since Wednesday and the moisture-laden wind from the Bay of Bengal. Such weather pattern will continue till coming Saturday, shared Basi, adding that thundershowers were also expected in some of the places in the eastern part of the country tonight.

Similarly, the eastern and central parts will witness partly cloudy weather while western hilly areas will have light rainfall on Friday. On Saturday, the eastern part of the country will remain sporadically cloudy while there is the possibility of partly cloudy at rest other parts of the country. Likewise, thundershowers are predicted in some places in the eastern and central part as well as some places in the mountainous areas in the western part of the country.

Today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley is 16.5 degree Celsius while maximum temperature is 31.3 degree Celsius. Dhangadi recorded the highest temperature, measuring at 40.8 degree Celsius. RSS
