Among the recipients, Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited stood out as the highest taxpayer in terms of income tax. This achievement reflects the company’s significant financial contribution and role in Nepal’s telecom sector, which remains one of the country’s vital industries for economic development.

In the goods export sector, Dabur Nepal received recognition for conducting the highest volume of business. This acknowledgment underscores Dabur Nepal’s success in both local and international markets, contributing not only to the national economy but also strengthening Nepal’s position in global trade.

The tourism sector also received its fair share of praise. Taragaon Regency Hotel, a leading player in Nepal’s hospitality industry, was honored for paying the highest tax within this sector. This recognition is particularly significant as tourism is one of the key industries in Nepal, drawing in foreign revenue and promoting the country’s cultural and natural heritage.

In the domain of goods trading, Bhattarai Super Market and Departmental Store were acknowledged for their significant tax contributions. Their efforts reflect the growing importance of retail and wholesale businesses in Nepal’s economy, which serve both local and regional markets while generating vital revenue for the government.

Among special industries, Barun Beverage Nepal received the award for its exceptional contribution to income tax. This recognition emphasizes the importance of the beverage industry in Nepal, which, alongside other sectors, plays a critical role in supporting the economy through tax payments.

Lastly, in the remittance and money transfer sector, City Express Money Transfer was honored for paying the highest tax. With remittances being a major source of income for many Nepali households, this award highlights the company’s role in managing remittance services and contributing to the national economy through tax.

These awards reflect the diverse range of industries that are contributing to Nepal’s economic development and demonstrate the vital role that businesses, both large and small, play in supporting the country’s financial system. The recognition also serves as a reminder of the importance of tax compliance and its direct impact on the nation’s growth and infrastructure.
