Banke, June 4: A tourist park has been constructed at Chauraha of Kohalpur in the district.
It was set up by Siddhartha Business Group of Hospital at the cost of Rs 5 million. The Business Group had worked in collaboration with Kohalpur municipality for the construction of the park. It, which covers 17,500 square feet, would be run for 15 years.
Minister for Urban Development Mohammad Istiyak Rai inaugurated the park on Monday (June 3).
Speaking during the inauguration program, he claimed that the budget brought recently by the government was inclusive and people oriented. He argued that the government would implement the budget effectively this time. According to him, investment from the private sector was imperative to ensure the national slogan of ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali.’
