Tribhuvan International Airport handled a total of 2,553 international flights in March, according to airport statistics.
Of these, 1,272 flights arrived in Nepal while 1,281 departed during the month.
A total of 374,788 passengers traveled through the airport in March. Among them, 182,103 passengers arrived in Nepal, while 192,685 departed for international destinations.
In the first seven days of April, the airport recorded 676 international flights, including 337 arrivals and 339 departures. During the same period, 50,923 passengers arrived in Nepal and 51,717 left the country.
By comparison, the airport handled 2,710 flights in March 2025, with a total of 424,522 passengers.
Similarly, in February this year, 2,275 flights were recorded, carrying 373,534 passengers.
