Kathmandu, May 9: Coco-Cola has marked its 133rd anniversary on Wednesday (May 8).The drink has been refreshing and uplifting people across the globe since its commencement on May 8, 1886, claims a press release issued by the company.Dr. Pemberton’s partner and bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, is credited with naming the beverage “Coca‑Cola” as well as designing the trademarked, distinct script, still used today. While it was Dr Pemberton who created the drink, it was Asa G. Candler, who grew the business, spreading it to all across the USA.
Coca-Cola has been refreshing Nepal since 1979 with a range of brands for all occasions; fit with the local taste and passion of the culture, the release states.
