Kathmandu, October 20 : 3,790 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered on Sunday (October 19), thus taking the total number of such cases in the country to 126,036. Among the newly infected, 2,388 are from the Kathmandu valley alone.
According to Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Jageshwar Gautam, 2,335 individuals recovered from the deadly disease yesterday. With this, the total number of such persons has reached 94,501 in the country.
He further shared that 18 infected patients died yesterday . With this, the total such deaths have totaled 757 in the country. The total number of active COVID-19 cases has so far crossed 40 thousand in the country.
