“6 underground” is an American action thriller film directed by Michael Bay and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The film was released on Netflix on 13th of December 2019. It was also premiered at The Shed (Art center) at New York on 10th of December 2019. Starring: Dead Pool actor Ryan Reynolds, Melanie Laurent, Ben Hardy and many in the lead roles, it certainly manages to grab audiences’ attention.
As this is a Michael Bay film, the action sequences are superior. Just like Transformers series; this movie also falls under the category of a super exciting action flick. Although the story is a bit poor, its crazy action sequences, loud music, bright colors and explosions will give you a great time watching it. All the cat and mouse chase sequences, car chase sequences and hand to hand combat sequences are the highlights of this movie. The casting is satisfactory. Dead Pool star Ryan Reynolds has done tremendous work in the film. Other cast members have also shown promising performances.
As it’s a Michael bay film, it is understandable that it is going to be a first-class action feature. The script however is not all that promising. The storyline is quite poor and makes for a one time watch only. This 2hour 8 minutes long action-packed flick is only good if you leave your logic at the door and watch it just to entertain yourself. I would rate it 2.5/5.
