Kathmandu, November 24 : Sun International Incorporated Pvt. Ltd., a FMCG venture of Jyoti Group, has lately launched the The Brooklyn Creamery brand of ice-cream in the Nepali market.

 “The brand promises a low-calorie, real-dairy ice-cream that lets you indulge guilt-free, with just 75 calories per scoop,” claims a press release issued by the company. Compared to other similar brands, The Brooklyn Creamery has half the calories and 60% lower fat.

Its “delicious range of 12 ice creams contains “no added sugars” and is sweetened with naturally occurring sugars found in milk, and plant-based sweeteners. The flavor’s range from NYC inspired Soho Berry and Brooklyn Bridge Butterscotch to classics such as Sweet Cream Vanilla and Summer Strawberries.

“They also have regional favorites such as Kulfi and Tutti Fruitti, alongside new age flavours like Pina Colada and Sea Salt Caramel. The range is topped off with Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Caffe Mocha, Holy Moly Mango and Chocoholic,” the release further said.

The Brooklyn Creamery range starts at just 2.5% fat as it is based on a unique recipe made by leading ice-cream experts, food technologists and food engineers from India, Europe and The Middle East, according to the release.

The 100 ml and 450 ml ice-cream packs of the brand are available at Rs 225 and Rs 775 respectively.
