KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepal Rastra Bank has instructed commercial banks to open counters even on public holidays during the quarter end. The banks have been instructed to open their branches on public holidays to collect the revenue till in mid-April.
The commercial banks began to open their branches during public holidays and weekends of quarter end since 13 years.
Similarly, the central bank has directed all banks and financial institutions to make arrangements for the purpose of clearing banks’ checks for revenue collection.
